Softball Recap: Quitman Comes Up Short

Quitman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 14-0 to the Mendenhall Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Tuesday.

Quitman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AMARI CARAWAY, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mendenhall, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4-1.

Quitman wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-9 loss against Southeast Lauderdale on the 1st. As for Mendenhall, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-1 defeat against Northeast Jones on the 1st.
