Softball Recap: Orange Vista Gets the Win

Orange Vista saw some tournament action on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Sultana Sultans 4-2. That's two games straight that the Coyotes have won by exactly two runs.

Nevaeh Bachman was a standout: she scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Macai Johnson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Orange Vista now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sultana, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Orange Vista didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-3 win against Arlington on the 22nd. As for Sultana, they will square off against Victor Valley at 3:15 p.m. on March 3rd.
