Baseball Recap: Patrick Henry Takes a Loss

Patrick Henry extended their losing streak to ten on Friday, dropping them down to 2-15. They lost 14-0 to the Hidden Valley Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in April.

As for Hidden Valley, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games.

For Hidden Valley's part, Zachary Slough was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Slough has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
