Football Game Preview: Jackson Timberwolves vs. Monroe Bearcats + How To Watch

Jackson is 0-5 against Monroe since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Timberwolves will challenge the Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Jackson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 35 points on Friday, they were much more limited against Kamiak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 6-3.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Monroe challenged Oak Harbor on Friday. The Bearcats took a 50-33 bruising from the Wildcats. Despite 92 more yards than the Wildcats, the Bearcats couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Jackson will have to contain Chris Britt as he made an impact in Monroe's last game. He threw for 317 yards and five TDs. Monroe's leading receiver Jacob Jutte was Britt's top target yet again, picking up 140 receiving yards and one score.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Jackson was taken down by Monroe 56-7 in their previous meeting back in October of 2019. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Timberwolves were down 49-0.
