Softball Recap: Argos Takes a Loss

Argos and South Central squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Argos had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Satellites. The Dragons have struggled against the Satellites recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Argos saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Stackhouse, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Argos' defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for South Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Argos nor South Central have any future games scheduled.
