            Baseball Recap: Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals vs. Leo Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Blue Island Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took  a  6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leo Lions. Having soared to a lofty 13  runs in the game before, the Cardinals couldn't push the score so high this time.
 Blue Island Eisenhower saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Favian Barcena, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double.
Blue Island Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Leo,  with the  victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9.
 Looking ahead, Blue Island Eisenhower will square off against Tinley Park at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Titans will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Leo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marmion  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
