It was fun while it lasted, but Storm Lake's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Saturday. They took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carroll Tigers. The game marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Storm Lake fell to 6-1. As for Carroll, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Storm Lake will host Le Mars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Carroll, they will square off against Ballard at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ballard knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Carroll likes a good challenge.
