Basketball Recap: The Campus Takes a Loss

The Campus Griffin took a blow against the Covenant Christian School Rams on Tuesday, falling 76-23.

Covenant Christian School's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Hand, who posted 17 points and three steals. Hand is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Graham West, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds.

The Campus' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Covenant Christian School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. The Campus will square off against rival Holy Ground Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Covenant Christian School is set to challenge their familiar foe Hearts Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
