Deckerville lost against Croswell-Lexington back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 2-1. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Deckerville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 15-12.

Croswell-Lexington was led to victory by Emma Adams and Rozlynn Cayce. Adams had 17 digs and four aces, while Cayce had eight digs and two aces. Those four aces gave Adams a new career-high.

Deckerville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-2. As for Croswell-Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-20 record this season.
