Crest dropped their record down to 24-4 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Rockingham County Cougars by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Chargers couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

As for Rockingham County, the win was the 24th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games.

For Rockingham County's part, the result came thanks to Ava Grace Pruitt's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks. Pruitt has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 16 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Rockingham County's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Snead, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
