Baseball Game Preview: Carlisle Thundering Herd vs. Lower Dauphin Falcons

The Carlisle Thundering Herd will square off against the Lower Dauphin Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Carlisle nor Lower Dauphin posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Monday, Carlisle came up short against Red Land and fell 5-1. The Thundering Herd have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carlisle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradyn Sober, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Meanwhile, Lower Dauphin unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Palmyra by a score of 3-2. Falcons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Cougars since on Monday.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Lower Dauphin, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
