Recap: North Webster Knights vs. Sterlington Panthers
The North Webster Knights lost against the Sterlington Panthers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between both teams wasn't particularly close, with North Webster falling 59-41. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sterlington found their leader in underclassman Cooper Nelson, who scored 24 points along with two blocks. Another player making a difference was Khristian Johnson, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
North Webster's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Sterlington, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Webster will face off against Wossman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wossman will be looking to keep their 13-game home win streak alive. As for Sterlington, they will head out on the road to square off against Richwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
