Football Recap: Clinton Prairie Gophers vs. Irvington Preparatory Academy        
        
		
             It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Clinton Prairie had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They took their  matchup  with ease, bagging  a  60-0 win over Irvington Preparatory Academy. The  match marked the Gophers' most dominant  victory of the season.
  Braiden Jarboe had a dynamite game for Clinton Prairie, rushing for 70 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jarboe is becoming a predictor of Clinton Prairie's success: when he posts  at  least two  rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-5 when he doesn't).  Alex King made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
 Clinton Prairie didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over.  Jackson Price led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by himself.
 The  win  got Clinton Prairie back to even at 5-5. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the  loss, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Clinton Prairie will challenge Sheridan at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Irvington Preparatory Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
