Baseball Game Preview: Ramona Rams vs. Patriot Warriors

For the second straight game, Ramona will face off against Patriot. The Rams will head out to take on the Warriors at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Ramona will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Ramona and Patriot, and Ramona kept the tradition alive. The Rams skirted past the Warriors 9-8. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by just one run.

Adam Hurtado was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anthony Avina, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ramona kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive contests.

Ramona's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Patriot, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-13.
