Torres extended their postseason success on Saturday against Mendota. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Aztecs. The win was familiar territory for the Toros, who have now won five contests in a row.

Justin Palacios was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Another player making a difference was Juan Gil, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Torres' record is now 13-17. As for Mendota, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-12.

As of now, neither Torres nor the Aztecs have any future games scheduled.
