Volleyball Recap: Colony Titans vs. South Hills Huskies

Colony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the South Hills Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 23-25, 25-21.

Among those leading the charge was Sam Martinez, who had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Jaselle Mendoza, who had eight digs and two aces.

Alta Loma is coming into the matchup with four straight victories on the road, so Colony will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for South Hills, they will square off against San Dimas at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. San Dimas will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something South Hills surely won't give up without a fight.
