Basketball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial was the 69-41 winner over Clovis East when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 60-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberwolves on Saturday. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Clovis East, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Coming up, Centennial will square off against Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Longhorns' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Clovis East, they will take on McLane in a tournament on Tuesday.
