Volleyball Recap: Heritage Academy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Heritage Academy walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won four contests in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Heritage Academy took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-5, 25-13.

Payton Wood paced Heritage Academy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Wood really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. Ava Dahn controlled things from the service line, finishing with 13 aces.

Heritage Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Cumberland Valley Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

As of now, neither Heritage Academy nor the Blazers have any future games scheduled.
