Soccer Recap: Bingham Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Bingham after they claimed the first goal on Monday, however, they wouldn't score again. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wasatch Wasps who were credited with the win. The Wasatch Wasps got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Bingham Miners' three. If Bingham were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Wasatch when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Bingham and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Wasatch, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bingham will square off against Corner Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wasatch, they will take on Springville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
