LBJ Austin won the last time they faced Austin Achieve and Marquis Murry II did his part to make sure it happened again. The Jaguars breezed past the Polar Bears to the tune of 72-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Murry II, who rushed for 115 yards and four TDs on only five carries. LBJ Austin is undefeated when Murry II posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

LBJ Austin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Joshua Covington, Josiah Covington, Jayden Bradley, and Kayden Lewis picked up one apiece. Joshua got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory was the third in a row for LBJ Austin, bringing their record up to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.0 points on average over those games. As for Austin Achieve, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

LBJ Austin has already played their next contest, a 71-7 victory against Northeast Early College on the 24th. As for Austin Achieve, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 58-0 loss against Travis on the 24th.
