Franklin Regional came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Armstrong, but Jaydon Oliver wouldn't allow it. The River Hawks blew past the Panthers 41-14 on Friday thanks in part to Oliver, who threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns while completing 94.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 88 yards on only nine carries. He has become a key player for Armstrong: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 2-5 otherwise.

Although Franklin Regional took the loss, they still got scores from Matt Moore and Tyrone Leonard.

With the win, Armstrong broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. As for Franklin Regional, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Armstrong will square off against Moon Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Franklin Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
