Soccer Recap: Edgemont Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

While Edgemont didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-13-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Nanuet Golden Knights 8-1 on Tuesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 6-0.

Edgemont's offense was hitting Nanuet from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Owen Boodell led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win (which was Edgemont's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Edgemont will square off against Pelham Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nanuet, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ardsley at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th.
