Big Game from Griffin As Middlesex Won 38-19

Starting off the list is Middlesex's Jaquan Griffin, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Griffin rushed for 183 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 54 yards.

Unfortunately for West Point, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Griffin. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Griffin saw the Pointers), he picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 58 yards.

James Stewart Puts an End to King William's Losing Streak on Friday

Thanks in part to James Stewart, King William said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Stewart turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns.

King William's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Stewart and King William will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mechanicsville at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

King William's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Trenton Stallings

Thanks in part to Trenton Stallings, King William said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Rocktown had no answer to Stallings on Friday as he threw for 25 yards on one of five attempts.

For the season, Stallings has averaged 60.1 passing yards per game.

Carter Made His Presence Known in West Point's 38-19 Loss

While West Point might've come up empty on Friday, Keleal Carter wasn't going down without a fight. Middlesex had no answer to Carter as he rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Carter didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made three total tackles.

For the year, Carter has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 60.3 rushing yards per game.

K'sean Hill Puts an End to King William's Losing Streak on Friday

King William's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to K'Sean Hill. Hill did his part (and then some), rushing for 67 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries for the 'W'.

For the year, Hill has averaged 14.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to four.
