Volleyball Game Preview: Holtville Vikings vs. Brawley Wildcats

The Holtville Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Brawley Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holtville will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Holtville earned a 3-1 victory over West Shores.

Meanwhile, Brawley got the win against Calexico Mission on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the RoadRunners: they've now won seven in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Brawley was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-13.

Holtville's record is now 7-9. As for Brawley, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-20.

Holtville came out on top in a nail-biter against Brawley in their previous matchup last Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
