Soccer Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dryden Lions.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Dryden, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Edison will challenge Tioga at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dryden, they will face off against Whitney Point at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dryden will be up against Whitney Point's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.33 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
