Millbrook waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Meridian Mustangs a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Millbrook pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Meridian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Millbrook is taking a road trip to challenge Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Meridian, they will take on Rock Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Phoenix have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.5 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
