Softball Recap: Taylorsville Comes Up Short

Taylorsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Stringer Red Devils, falling 16-1. The Tartars were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Taylorsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Stringer, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3-2.

Looking ahead, Taylorsville will challenge Leake County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stringer, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bay Springs at 6:30 p.m.
