Veterans Memorial had won two straight games and Cameron Danaher did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Patriots walked away with a 2-0 win over the Devine Warhorses / Arabians with plenty of help from Danaher, who had 13 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

While Veterans Memorial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18.

Veterans Memorial now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Devine, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Veterans Memorial will welcome Boerne-Champion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Devine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Saint Mary's Hall at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
