Basketball Recap: Rural Special Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Rural Special won the last time they faced Clinton and things went their way on Friday too. The Rural Special Rebels walked away with a 59-52 win over the Clinton Yellowjackets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Rural Special pushed their record up to 26-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points over those games. As for Clinton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-15.

Rural Special does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clinton, they will face off against Quitman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quitman will roll in looking for their 28th straight win, something Clinton surely won't give up without a fight.
