Football Game Preview: Littlestown Thunderbolts vs. Delone Catholic Squires

Littlestown is 2-8 against Delone Catholic since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Thunderbolts will welcome the Squires at 7:00 p.m.

Littlestown is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Penn Manor on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Thunderbolts were dealt a 39-6 loss at the hands of the Comets. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delone Catholic). They pulled ahead with a 32-31 photo finish over Hanover on Friday. The Squires haven't had any issues with the Nighthawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Littlestown now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Delone Catholic, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
