After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lenawee Christian, Litchfield was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Athens Indians 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Terriers, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Litchfield pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Athens, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Litchfield will venture away from home to challenge Pittsford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Athens, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 26-2 defeat against Camden-Frontier on the 19th.
