Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Beats Woodlan for Their Third Straight Win

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Woodlan Warriors. For the Cadets, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Alex Korte paced Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's offense, picking up 14 kills. Korte got some help from Mason Pankop and his 40 assists. Pankop also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Lucas Boersma, racking up three apiece.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Woodlan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran will host Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodlan, they will face off against Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
