It's playoff time, and Potomac Falls had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Briar Woods Falcons with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 52-35. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Briar Woods' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sadie Auch, who posted 11 points and four steals. Nina Keltz was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Potomac Falls pushed their record up to 22-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points over those games. As for Briar Woods, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.

Looking ahead, Potomac Falls will take on Lightridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Briar Woods does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
