Bridgeport waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Elkins Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bridgeport never let Elkins on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22.

Bridgeport's win bumped their record up to 16-6-4. As for Elkins, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11-1.

Bridgeport has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fairmont Senior on the 25th. As for Elkins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pocahontas County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
