Goleman and Western squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Goleman had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Gators' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Goleman was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Western's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-11, 25-19.

Western's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carolina Olivet, who had nine digs and two aces. Olivet is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Goleman's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Western, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

As of now, neither Goleman nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
