Volleyball Recap: Camelback Comes Up Short

The Camelback Spartans came up short against the Marcos de Niza Padres on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-19.

Alan Diaz paced Camelback's offense, picking up 18 kills. Diaz got some help from Phillip Gonzales and his 25 assists. Alexander Falcon Cruz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Camelback's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Marcos de Niza, their record is now 4-5.

Coming up, Camelback will host Valley Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marcos de Niza, they will head out on the road to take on Prescott at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
