Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley Bears vs. Ellenville Blue Devils
Tri-Valley was the 52-35 winner over Ellenville when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tri-Valley Bears fell 49-40 to the Ellenville Blue Devils on Saturday.
Ellenville found their leader in sophomore Nevaeh Ramos, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Ramos a new career-high in threes (five). Mariah Kinscy was another key player, scoring 13 points in addition to five assists and five steals.
The victory made it two in a row for Ellenville and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
