Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Central Dewitt

Central DeWitt put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 52-42 victory over the Davenport North Wildcats. This was payback for Central DeWitt, who suffered a 69-62 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Central DeWitt pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Davenport North, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Central DeWitt will host Pleasant Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Valley's defense has only allowed 26 points per game this season, so Central DeWitt's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Davenport North, they will take on Davenport Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Davenport North is facing Davenport Central at the right time seeing as Davenport Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
