Basketball Recap: Praise Academy Takes a Loss

Praise Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. The game between them and the Konos Academy Condor didn't end well, with the Praise Academy Lions falling 58-39. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Joshua Knapp continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Konos Academy, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, Knapp is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game. Caleb Knapp was another key player, going 5 for 11 en route to 15 points.

Praise Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Konos Academy, their record now sits at 8-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Praise Academy and Trinity Christian School of Griffin will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Konos Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Skipstone Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
