Softball Recap: Bel Air Triumphs

Bel Air's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Horizon Scorpions. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Scorpions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Andrea Saucedo spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sai Salazar, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Riley Garner, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Bel Air's win bumped their record up to 6-25. As for Horizon, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-23.

Bel Air wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 18-0 loss against Parkland on the 17th. Horizon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
