Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Chargers vs. Marquette University Hilltoppers

The Hamilton Chargers will take on the Marquette University Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Hamilton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past West Allis Hale with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 78-61. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Marquette University kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Brookfield Central. The Hilltoppers' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak dating back to last season.

The victory made it two in a row for Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Marquette University, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-1.

Hamilton came up short against Marquette University when the teams last played back in January, falling 72-63. Can Hamilton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
