Recap: Hamilton Lions vs. Hatley Tigers
The Hamilton Lions entered their tilt with the Hatley Tigers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Hamilton managed a 42-36 victory over Hatley on Thursday. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hamilton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justin Verner, who rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 67 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Willie Green, who rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
Despite the loss, Hatley still got an impressive performance from Cayson Williams, who rushed for 243 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry.
Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Hatley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Hamilton will look to defend their home field on November 3rd against O'Bannon at 7:00 p.m. Hatley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
