The Canyon View Jaguars will take on the Liberty Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

While Jaguars fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Wednesday's season opener. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Agua Fria an 18-0 shutout on Wednesday.

Carter Radwanski looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Ricardo Yuriar was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Collins Jr., who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Canyon View always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Agua Fria only posted an OBP of .154.

Meanwhile, everything went Liberty's way against Agua Fria on Wednesday as Liberty made off with a 12-0 victory.
