MCC extends road winning streak to 11

In what's become a running theme this season, the MCC Crescents gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat College Prep of America 60-30 on the road. The victory was nothing new for MCC as they're now sitting on four straight.

MCC's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Youssef Hassab, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 20 rebounds. Hassab is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Ammar Ibrahim was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

When it comes to explaining why College Prep of America lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hamzah Shouman. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. Shouman has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 12 times he's played.

MCC's win was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.27 points. One thing working in Yorkville Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches. As for College Prep of America, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Maine West at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th. Maine West is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
