Hammond is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Loranger a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Hammond Tornadoes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Loranger Wolves at 6:30 p.m. Hammond will be strutting in after a victory while Loranger will be coming in after a defeat.

Hammond is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Sumner by a score of 8-4 on Saturday.

Josh Triolo made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs.

In other batting news, Reid Hoover was excellent, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Lathan Ducote was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
