Centerville fell victim to Highland Baptist Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Highland Baptist Christian Bears, falling 15-0. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Highland Baptist Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Coincidentally, Centerville and Highland Baptist Christian will both be playing Delcambre the next time they take the field. Centerville will host Delcambre at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Highland Baptist Christian will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
