Baseball Recap: Beddingfield Takes a Loss

Beddingfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the North Johnston Panthers, falling 18-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-0 on Tuesday.

Kwacie Holiday Jr was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Beddingfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for North Johnston, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Beddingfield has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Eastern Wayne on the 10th. As for North Johnston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Goldsboro on the 10th.
