Fredonia extends home losing streak to 19

Recap: Fredonia Lynx vs. Red Mesa Redskins
The Fredonia Lynx's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 67-41 defeat at the hands of Red Mesa. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Fredonia struggled afterwards.
Red Mesa was led to victory by Dakota Loucks and Josh Begay. Loucks dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Begay scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Begay pulled down eight or more rebounds. Nicamiah Vigil was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five assists and five steals.
Fredonia's defeat was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Red Mesa, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-17.
Fredonia won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Grand Canyon at 3:00 p.m. on January 27th. Grand Canyon comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Red Mesa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
