Salisbury Township dropped down to 8-5 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Bangor Slaters, falling 15-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Falcons have suffered against the Slaters since April 12, 2019.

Markus Jones was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

As for Bangor, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7. That looming 15-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

On Bangor's side, Jaxson Kreider was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Kreider has become a key player for the Slaters: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Cooper Karasek also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Salisbury Township has already played their next matchup (against Executive Education Academy Charter School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bangor, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Saucon Valley on the 18th.
