Volleyball Recap: Walsh Jesuit Falls Short of Steele in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walsh Jesuit can now relate to. They fell just short of the Steele Comets by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Warriors have struggled against the Comets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Dani Dury went supernova For Steele., getting 18 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Dury has posted since back in September. Kendal Dobbins also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Walsh Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Steele, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Walsh Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Steele, after both having extra time off, they and Avon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
